İBAVALRESA Boya ve Kimya A.Ş. was founded in Ankara in 2005 by İBA Kimya A.Ş. and VALRESA SA as a Turkish–Spanish partnership to design, manufacture and market wood and industrial paints and varnishes.
İba Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., which began paint and varnish production in Ankara in 1977, added powder coating facilities in 1995 and became a leading producer in Türkiye's powder coating sector.
Valresa SA began producing furniture paints and varnishes in Valencia, Spain in 1965, and opened its second facility in Mexico in 2004. Valresa-branded paints reach 6,000 customers across 5 continents and are among globally recognized brands.
İba Kimya and Valresa SA, each a leader in its sector in different countries, combined their production know-how and experience to found İBAVALRESA Boya ve Kimya A.Ş. in Ankara in 2005, further strengthening their position in the industry. The company operates under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Powered by this partnership, our exports have today reached around 50% of total sales; under the Valresa brand we now represent the Türkiye arm of a global network reaching more than 6,000 customers across 5 continents.
Since 1977 we have been a manufacturer specialized in wood paints and varnishes and industrial coatings. We are among the leading producers in Türkiye's wood coatings market.
At our modern facility built on 37,000 m² in the Ankara Sincan, we operate with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons. Our strong production infrastructure is supported by ISO 9001:2015 and SAP-integrated process management.
Production of insulation chemicals, thinners and solvents began.
Wood paint production began and consumers were introduced to İBAVET-branded products.
The majority shares of VOLKAN Paint, an industrial paint producer, were acquired by the DAL Family.
Alkyd resin production began.
İBA Kimya A.Ş., which decided to continue in the electrostatic powder coating sector, transferred its furniture paint, alkyd and thinner production and marketing activities to the newly founded İBAVET Boya ve Vernik Ltd. Şti.
A quality assurance system was established and the ISO 9001:1994 certificate was obtained.
The ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certificate was renewed.
A joint investment with Valresa (Spain) in wet-paint operations was decided and İBAVALRESA was founded. Construction of the new wet-paint facilities began.
A new facility on a 32,000 m² site in the expansion area of the 1st Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara Sincan was commissioned and trial production began.
The first exports were carried out.
SAP was integrated as the ERP system. The ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certificate was renewed.
The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certificate was renewed.
With a solar power plant investment, renewable energy generation began.
With a 5,000 m² land addition, the facility area was increased to 37,000 m².
Logistics capacity was strengthened with an ASRS automated storage and retrieval system.
